Meet The Team
Dr Dermot Gardiner
Medical Director
Dr Dermot Gardiner is a Consultant Occupational Physician with particular experience in Aviation and Diving medicine.
He completed is medical training at Queen’s University in Belfast in 2002 and went on to work across the UK before completing General Practice training in 2010. After a period as a partner in General Practice he decided to specialise in Occupational Medicine and undertook higher professional training working in both England and Scotland before completing training and being admitted to the GMC Specialist Register in Occupational Medicine in 2017 and appointed a Consultant in Occupational Medicine.
He in addition to his specialist medical training he has completed a Masters degree in Medical Law at the University of Glasgow, a Masters of Science Degree in Occupational Health at the University of Birmingham and the world renowned Post Graduate Diploma in Aerospace Medicine at Kings College London.
He was worked across the UK and has undertaken expedition medicine abroad, with significant experience in aviation and diving medicine alongside occupational medicine.
He offers offers a wide range of Occupational Health services including Management Referrals, HAVS Tier 4 Medicals, Ill Health Retirement assessments, Driver and Safety Critical Worker assessments, HSE Diving Medicals and Expert Witness services.
